First Baptist Church is a group of people who have found that life is worth living when you have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We aren’t perfect, but we have found real answers to life’s biggest questions.

We invite you to be our special guest this Sunday morning at 10:00 am.

When you attend our service, you can come as you are. You will most likely see people just like you, some with coats and ties, some with jeans and shorts, from young to old and everything in between. You will enjoy heartfelt music in a variety of styles, and hear a message you can understand, straight from the Bible – the most relevant book in the world.

We all have questions: Why am I here? Is there really a God? If there is, does He really care about me?

We believe there are real answers to these and other important questions. Jesus not only promised life; He promised “abundant life.” And He offers it to those who will seek Him.

What is Back to Church Sunday?

Everyone is Invited and Welcome Back to Church on September 19, 2010!

How many people do you know who “used to go” to church, but just don’t anymore? If you are like most Americans, you know quite a few, or maybe you are one of them yourself. According to the book American Church in Crisis by David T. Olson, “Most Americans have been to church, and yet only 20 percent are regular attendees.” Dr. Gary L. McIntosh from the Talbot School of Theology at Biola University estimates “more than 76 million people have attended church at least once in their lifetime.” Clearly, most people who do not currently attend church did attend at one time. Many of these people—maybe even you, might be willing to try church again, given the right opportunity.

Back to Church Sunday is designed to be that opportunity—a special service dedicated to people who do not regularly attend church, a time when those who have left the church are encouraged to return and give it another try.
