Bandon was raised in the Tulsa, OK, area.  Much of his ministry has been served in that region.

Brandon received his Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Theology from Slidell Baptist Seminary.  He also holds a Biblical Counseling Certification from seminary.

He accepted the call to ministry in 1990.  Since college he has continued to gain the experience needed to lead a congregation.  Throughout college he had the privilege to serve as a youth minister.  His experience also includes a time where he served as education minister and associate pastor.  Since 2001 Brandon has served as senior pastor. 

"I have a heart for reaching the lost and seeing the church perform its mission. My objective is to serve a Southern Baptist Church and lead a body of believers 'To Know Jesus and Make Him Known."

When not serving the church, Pastor Brandon enjoys spending time with his family and golfing with friends. Brandon's life Bible verse is Philippians 4:6-7.

 

Candace joined the FBC staff full-time in 2004. As the church grew, there was a need for someone to oversee the children's programs and to plan the music for all services. 

Recently Candace moved into the area of the Church Office Ministry Assistant. While direction of the children's programs and activites is still a priority for her, she now also works with the pastor in assisting him with missions planning, publications, and communication. 

On a Sunday mornings, you will find her leading Kids Own Worship!

Candace had been a member of the fellowship since 1999 and made the move from newspaper graphic arts to full-time ministry. Candace has a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from Hannibal-LaGrange College.

She and her husband Heath also have a ministry called Magic With a Message Ministries.  They share the good news of Jesus Christ using the uniques gifts of Christina Illusion, Clowning, Drama, Music, Balloon Animals and much more.

Rocky has called Dixon FBC home all his life.  He was raised in this very church.  He was only away for a few years while at college at Southwest Baptist University in Boliver, MO, and immediately after college.  He has worked with youth many times throughout his life including a time when he taught Sunday School. 

After college he worked in health care marketing, but he is now serving as Director of Student Ministries.  He fills the call of God on his life and he is very excited to see where the Lord will lead.

Rocky is married to Sherry and they have four children.

 

Shannon grew up in Dixon, and with the exception of a few years around college and the start of a career in accounting, she has always lived in the area.  She holds a BA in Accounting from Missouri Southern in Joplin.  Shannon works part time as the accountant for the Dixon Nursing Center and the part-time church treasurer.  She also enjoys spending lots of time at home with family.

Linda has served as part-time church secretary since 1976. She is also a long-time member of the community and FBC Dixon. Linda is a funeral director for Bermingham Martin Funeral Homes.
