Bobby and Dianne have been married 20 years and have three children; Abigail (16), Josiah (12), and Joseph (10).  Bobby was born in Wuertzberg, Germany, while his father served as a chaplain in the army.  Growing up he lived in Ohio, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. 

Bobby graduated from Southwest Baptist University with a B.A. in Christian Ministries and a minor in Discipleship.  He then went on to receive his Masters of Divinity from the Northwest campus of Golden Gate Baptist Theological Seminary in Vancouver, Washington.

Bobby was licensed to the ministry in 1989 and ordained in 1993.  He has served in many capacities within the body of Christ including youth pastor, associate pastor, campus pastor and senior pastor.

For eight years, Bobby and Dianne and their family served as missionaries with the International Mission Board in Russia.  They lived in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Nizhny Novgorod. 

Bobby enjoys spending time with his family, camping, and playing pool and ping pong.

If you are reading this now...I am going to assume you are interested in Youth Ministry at FBC.   That to me is exciting!!!!   The youth at FBC are a critical part of the church family here.   I have heard it said many times, "Youth are the future of the church."    Yes!!! and they are the church of today.    They are not Junior Christians with a Junior Holy Spirit.   They are born again believers with a call to go and make disciples just like everyone else.    My job along with the leadership of the church and their parents is to lead them, instruct them, teach them and love them in accordance with the Word.   What an awesome responsibility and priveledge.   At FBC we believe it is our job to equip and then to put that teaching into SERVICE.

I have been on staff here at FBC now for 5 + years.   I received my BA from Southwest Baptist College (now University) in Bolivar, MO and my MS from Emporia State University in Emporia,KS.    I have been in church all my life and I have served in some capacity.......but it was not until my late 30's and early 40's that i finally realized what it really means to BE the CHURCH.
